im running into the “unknown host” error when trying to connect to the Minecraft server, it is forwarded through playit and i am using the same version as the server, but it’s still failing, and the suggested fix is not working. the server is being ran through papermc and the os is Linux mint, mate edition, if that changes anything. thank you in advance for the help!

ok unknown host error is fixed, but now the connection is almost instantly reset when i try to join it, i need some hrlp…

how’d you do it? I’m currently having the problem of connection reset and I want to see if the proble is the same.
iirc the connection reset error was because of mismatched ports/IPS. make sure ur ports are correct (25565 for Java) and that requests to that port are let through your firewall, also make sure there isn’t an IP specified in the config files for velocity (I assume you are using papermc for the server and velocity for the proxy) and the settings for your tunnel and agent
