Playit Connections have 50/50 Chance of Working

So I just bought a playit premium subscription specifically so that my friends on the East coast don’t need to go through Fremont to get to my server in North Dakota. I created 2 agents, 1 runs the java and bedrock tunnels in chicago and the other is running the java and bedrock tunnels in NYC (I made sure both agents are originating out of those datacenters too).

For whatever reason, the NYC tunnels have a 50/50 chance when connecting to them that you just get a timed out getsockopt error. But if you refresh the server list a couple times, it will then work and you will connect almost instantly. Both agents are running off of the same linux server running Debian 13 with CasaOS. And both agents point at the same origin IP and port.

The chicago servers work fine for those on the east coast, I just thought it would be cool to be able to squeeze out that extra ping for them though. Especially now that I paid for and have the ability to create more tunnels and agents.

I’m also having a very similar issue. Connection through NYC is very intermittent. I manually set the agent to run through Chicago and that seems to help. Using Linux on the server as well.

Scratch that, actually. I’ve got just as many problems with Chicago as I do with NYC. Something’s going on. Hopefully it gets fixed ASAP because right now I’m paying for a service I can’t use.
