Permission to integrate the playit agent into a free, open-source game server manager?

Hey! I make a free, open-source Windows app for hosting Project Zomboid servers
( GitHub - Naftaliro/pz-server-manager: A Windows desktop application for managing multiple Project Zomboid dedicated servers with SteamCMD integration, live console, mod management, and auto-updates. · GitHub ). Lots of my users can’t port forward, and playit has been the thing that
actually works for me and my friends, so I’d love to make it a one-click option in the app.

What I’m planning, so you can tell me if any of it crosses a line:

  • Each user signs in with their own playit account (claimed through your normal pages), with their own tunnel. No
shared accounts, keys or tunnels, and nothing is resold.
  • The app doesn’t ship your binary. It offers to install the official agent via `winget install
    DevelopedMethods.playit`, or links to playit.gg/download.
  • It starts the user’s agent when their game server comes online, and shows their tunnel address so they can send it
to friends. To get the address it only reads the agent’s state over the local IPC pipe (get_state), it never changes
    anything.
  • It’s labeled “Works with playit.gg” with a link to you, with no rebranding.

I read section 3.4 of the terms (no bundled or white-labeled offerings without written consent), so I wanted to ask
before shipping it. Is this OK, and is there a preferred way to do it (CLI flags, an API, a referral link, anything
you’d rather I avoided)? Happy to change whatever you like.

Thanks for making playit, beautiful software, you guys are amazing.

I have submitted my application for review. I look forward to hearing back and I will leave this post up if anyone has recommendations or information to share. Feel free to close if needed.
