I installed Cube Coder’s AMP and spun up an instance of Minecraft Java. It is accessible via its local ip and port, but when I try to use my external domain, I get a host unknown error. Any help is appreciated!

I’m in the same boat as you and I FINALLY got it. They really don’t seem to want you to use external domains which is frustrating. In your cloudflare portal you have to add a couple of DNS records. I know enough about domains to be dangerous but I didn’t know what that top part in blue (in the playitt.gg subdomain page) meant. Very unclear. It seems you have to add an NS record (in cloudflare) for the subdomain name to those two addresses
I presume it’s relying on cloudflare to then associate the DNS rule globally to the subdomain name to the playit.gg servers to then be forwarded to your server.
The really unclear part is you have to give a name to the record you add and it has to be the subdomain you entered in playit.gg. Ie for you it’d be:
NS mc1 ns1.playit-dns.com
NS mc1 ns1.playit-dns.com
