I’m having some issues getting my friends to connect using the domain name I have set up for a tunnel for PC. I’m not sure what changed as they were able to get in using my url before, but now they need to use the raw IP address instead. I know I’ve been having issues with cloudflared service since I was also trying to set up a tunnel for foundry and am having unresolved issues with that as well. I suspect there is a dns setting I have messed up somewhere even tho don’t think I’ve mucked around with dns configs on the server. with that being said I’m able to connect via url just fine on my machine, even when I connect from an outside network (my phone hotspot)
I started over from scratch and now I have a new problem, but I’m counting it as positive progress, I can no longer connect via domain name either. I have set up the domain in cloudflare to point to the DNS name server and I have told playit to use the domain and set up a tunnel. However when I use the look up tool on nslookup.io as it says to in the guide. I’m not seeing the ns1.playit-dns.com on the list when I look up the domain. I’m not sure what I’ve done wrong but the only reason I’m paying for the playit service it to be able to bring my own domain over. I was going to space out all the images to relate to each topic but I guess I’m too new to upload more than one image, so my apologies for the crummy image thats been sort of spliced together
