It works with any Minecraft modpack. Make sure the server files for the modpack are the correct ones and all clients have the same mods

It should work, if you setup your server and are able to connect locally it should be fairly straight forward to make it public with playit. If you run into issues feel free to make a new post asking for help (be sure to include details).
